About me
Leveraging over 12 years (7 years professionally) of experience in manufacturing, process improvement, and project management to drive efficiency and innovation in the manufacturing industry.
My Experience
05/2022 - Current
Manufacturing eng. 2
I spearheaded the management of a $375K Automated Hose Feeder project, leading to significant labor and scrap cost savings. My role involved risk mitigation, SAP integration, and facility planning, alongside improving workflow through VBA and SAP Macros, purchasing capital equipment for better ergonomics, and introducing new products to reduce costs and lead times.
10/2019 - 05/2022
Manufacturing eng. 2
I streamlined the front-end quoting process by evaluating drawings for manufacturability, optimizing design, and project feasibility, while also enhancing business revenue through the establishment of in-house testing standards, automating report generation, and deploying data-driven improvements for the quote team. My efforts in continuous improvement and utilizing Designed for Manufacturing charts significantly improved efficiency, and contributed to significant business revenue growth through the development and manufacturing of new products.
10/2017 - 10/2019
RMB Packaging
dba
The Foam Shop
Mechanical Manufacturing Eng.
In this role, I reverse-engineered products dimensions to design foam mold designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, optimized manufacturability for CNC and production floor setups, and programmed robots and machines for increased efficiency. I also designed jigs and fixtures and developed solutions for product rework and retrofitting.
06/2017 - 10/2017
Project Manufacturing Eng.
As an intern, I resolved CAPAs through experimentation, developed and revised work instructions, and participated in the design and production phases of projects, enhancing the manufacturing process and outcomes.
09/2012 - 06/2017
Advanced Material Designs
Subsidiary: Original Greek
Co-Founder/Chief Design Officer
Co-founded the company, I developed a standard operation process flow, designed products for production with CNC laser/router and wide-format printing, and significantly grew sales through the launch of a subsidiary, "Original-Greek." I applied lean manufacturing principles to increase throughput and consulted with customers to close sales.
